I had gone through a broker to find a reliable shipping carrier for my vehicle. I needed it to be delivered from Dallas to Sacramento. My broker found me a deal and told me it was John's trucking who will do the transport. We signed the contract and agreed on dates and all was set. This guy was 4 days late, would not return my calls when I would call for an update, I would have to call my broker to get a hold of him. Once my car was delivered there was damage to it which was supposed to be covered under his insurance policy. He delivered my car and didn't even do a post delivery inspection, luckily I did and caught him in time before he left and advised him of the damage to my hood. He then gave me his insurance information and left. I called his insurance and filed a claim, his insurance company advised me that their client is responsible for his deductible to be paid directly to me and anything over his $1000.00 deductible they would be responsible for. This is the weirdest thing I've ever heard, never have i experience an insurance claim where the insurer pays his deductible directly to the claimer. Long story short his insurance company paid the $10.00 over the $1000.00 deductible that he was responsible for and I've yet to see any money from John. The damage happened 12/8/2013, the claim was filed 12/10/2013 and a letter was sent to John from his insurance company on 12/31/2013. It is now 2/27/2014 and this guy still has not sent me my $1000.00 deductible that he owes and his insurance company does not give a shit to help me out since they paid out their portion. I've consulted with a lawyer and plan on doing a civil law suit, granted it might cost me more but its the sheer principal that I will not allow this bastard to screw other people over like he did to me. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS GUY, he is a worthless piece of shit human being.
