So my quote started off as a normal pick up of my Supra in Maryland and delivered to Texas. But my plans at the time were paper thin and it was far enough away that it didn't matter. All was good. The closer it got locations changed and Julia was more than happy to assist me with a backwoods location in Virginia and adjusted dates. The closer it came to shipping the car I wouldn't be able to be there with the car and left it with a friend and would also get picked up by a friend. I contacted Kind of the Road transport on a Monday and was leaving Wednesday but had one more change, because I'm difficult, and Matt was filling in for the first time through all of this. Regardless, that plan had fallen through without.. too many details and Julia had contacted me the next day to inform me that a certain deal should not had been made but came through with the short amount of time and having to run around with plan A, B, C, all the way to plan Z to find out which option would work and at the earliest convenience. Also getting someone to drive stick became an issue since I wouldn't be there. In the end is was an amazing process. Julia found a driver within a day, staying late for me to finalize the order. The drive contacted the person holding my car, picked the car up without any problems, contacted me and had no problems going on a military post at the last minute, contacted the receiver the night before and showed up on time in the morning. It all took 3 days where as I thought it would be a week. Amazing work done by Julia. She is a great representative of King of the Road and very very honest and friendly. I recommend this company to anyone needing to ship a vehicle.
