Statement of work was to port-to-door delivery. Was notified from California agent at "port" that Lego Transportation recovered vehicle from on Wednesday. California Agent notified us the vehicle should delivery Wednesday, no later than Thursday. Following Monday an unidentified man called inquiring as to whether we were expecting a vehicle- in which the year and model was unknown. When asked to confirm correct year and model the unidentified man said "oh, yes" and hung up. On Wednesday, we called dispatch to confirm delivery and dispatch reported delivery would be Friday but no delivery window was provided. Friday, made multiple attempts to reach Dispatch to confirm delivery and estimated delivery window from 9:13 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at which time Dispatch informed us the drivers earliest arrival would be 6 - 8 p.m. or could driver could delivery Saturday 8 - 10 a.m. We agreed to Saturday morning delivery. Lego Transportation office hours on Saturday are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. At 9:06 a.m. we called Dispatch to inquire as to status of driver- transferred to on-call Dispatch cell, got voicemail, and left message. 10:03 called Dispatch, transferred to full voicemail. Two more attempts and two more transfers to full voicemail. 10:29 a.m. Dispatch answers- driver supposedly experienced a flat tire in route. Delivery should be no later than 2 p.m. Dispatch would have driver call us. Attempted 4 more phone calls to Dispatch and Lego Transportation General Manager from 12:02 and 3:41 when the driver finally called. Driver arrives! Upon delivery of vehicle, driver asks for $45 as informed by Lego Transportation. All fees paid two-days prior to Lego Transportation Finance office. Driver proceeds to depart when I inquired about the final inspection. Driver took no interest in performing final inspection and carried on with his business.
The lack of communication from Lego Transportation Dispatch, Relocation Services, and Drivers is despicable. Same can be said for GM as it's Monday afternoon and no call back to follow up on message left on Saturday. This company's customer service does not align with their websites promises. We work for an international Third-Party Logistics Corporation with Corporate and Franchise offices global and never in my 21 years in the business have ever experienced such a company in the same business. We are just happy to have our vehicle unscathed. Just dirty- however, expected.
Recommendation: do not consider Lego Transportation for your vehicle transportation needs.
