Merry Christmas!
First off, you have to keep in mind that " Magic Carpet" is listed as a broker so they don't own the trucks that transport the cars and the truck drivers are not their employees. The company that agreed to pick up our Lexus from the "transport board" in MA for Magic Carpet was Vesta Transportation based out of New Jersey. The truck drivers names are Yuri and Maks. They were very nice Russian brothers who were hard working, humble and polite. They drove from Boston, MA to Fresno, Ca in only four days so they were 6 days early. We were pleasantly surprised how early our car got here. I definitely would recommend Magic Carpet Auto Transport to anyone. The price is good and I thought that the representative (Kathy) was very pleasant to deal with. There are some other companies who offer a very low quote to attract your business and than raise the price because of one excuse after another. That is what happened to me and it costs me three weeks of wasting my time. There is an old adage that says if you pay peanuts , you will get monkeys". This company has very good prices and what I was quoted is what I paid. When your car goes up on the board with too low of a price, the chances of a truck driver picking it up are slim to none. Kathy was very accurate in determining the amount of money it would take to attract me as a customer and to attract a driving team on the board. This web site is a real blessing to do your homework. Choose wisely my friends!
