Please read the fine print of the contract. the original fee paid to Mayflower is only the fee to find a transport. the actual amount to the transport company is paid when the vehicle is delivered, and that amount is up to the transport company not Mayflower. Mayflower only arranges the transport.
In my case the fee was $175.00 and the transport cost was $450.00. I thought the total was going to be $450.00
I was informed of the actual transport cost by the transport driver when the car was picked up. I had no idea or prior communication from Mayflower that the cost was going to be more.
Mike told me I should have read the fine print. This was the only comment he made when i called him after the car was delivered.
