Mercury Transport provided the lowest quote I obtained. Because the way the process works with shippers accepting your bid, my final bill ($620) was higher than the initial quote ($495), but still lower than other quotes I received. The shipping companies provide a plus or minus 3 day pickup and delivery schedule. For my car, the intial schedule was to pickup on Tuesday and deliver on Monday, but acutal days were pickup on Wednesday and deliver on Monday. In talking with the driver, he rearranged his pickup schedule to accomodate my pickup constaints after not picking up the car on Tuesday as initially scheduled. I was not present for car loading, but the driver took extra care in unloading my car due to its lowered stance. All in all, I would work with Mercury Transport again in the future if the need arises. My overall experience with shipping a car for the first time was pleasant and uneventful.
