Never use them for transport

I used mercury auto transport for shipping my car, they referred me to Xpress Auto Carrier. They delivered my car in damaged condition early in the morning. When I was about to mark about the damage on the car on Bill of Lading, the driver did not let me do it saying "If you mark anything on Bill of Lading that means the car was already damaged and you cannot claim the damage.". Then he said, all he needs to do is take the pictures of the damage on the car and forward it to his boss and he will take care of it. I had no other option but to sign and take the car because early in the morning and i cannot contact the broker or the carrier at that time. I also found my GPS missing (looking at all these things looks like it was stolen)in the car but never complained about it!

When I called Mercury (Claudia Gavillano - Customer Service person and Jim Gozde - Agent) about my damage and they asked me to call Xpress Auto Carrier directly and then they asked me to wait for them to get back to me and they never did. When I called them to follow up they said, there's nothing on Bill of Lading so we cannot continue even after saying that it was his driver who asked me not to mark anything on Bill of Lading. They have the pictures sent by the driver and the ones sent by me. Still they did not move forward with this case. Basically they cheated me by doing all these cheap stuff!! I don't know what kind of Cheap and Cheating carriers mercury is dealing with. They just gave up on my case and I'm the sufferer!!!!


DON"T EVER USE MERCURY AUTO TRANSPORT!!!!!!

Hello Pradeep, I am very sorry to hear about the damage to your vehicle. We explain to every customer before signing the bill of laden make sure the vehicle is in the same condition as when it was released. We also send you this information via email, and also have it on the paperwork. Every customer is also instructed to call us ASAP if there is any kind of problem on pick-up or delivery. The paperwork States by signing you are Saying the car was received in good condition unless otherwise noted. No insurance company will reimburse a claim if it is not documented. We will help anyway we can ,and are in contact with the carrier to resolve this issue to the best of our ability. Sincerely, Management
