This was my first time shipping a car. I spoke with many brokers and ended up going with Mercury based on the BBB rating and the reviews on this site. Contact person was Jim Godze, who was very open, honest and helpful. He essentially let us choose our price based on what we thought would move the car, and had full disclosure regarding the broker fee. We drove to Niagara to drop the car off. The truck was 4 hours late but that was moreso the fault of Ark Transport. Mercury was helpful on the day of the pickup (stressful day on our end) however this was after we reached out to them to help us get in contact with the driver. Customer service declined somewhat after booking but I think that's the nature of the broker relationship - the dropoff exchange is in the hands of the transport company. Car arrived in LA 5 days after dropoff (left Niagara on Saturday, arrived in LA on Wednesday). No damage to the car and the Ark Transport driver was really nice and professional. Thanks guys!
