The service was excellent. I spoke with Laura over a period of 3 weeks in total; the first was just to get a feel for the company and the process, the second was to place my order, and third was to confirm details. Right from the start Laura was amazing. After placing an online quote she followed up with a more approximate estimate that she did personally instead of leaving it at the computer generated quote. The quote she provided was $300 cheaper than the computer generate quote, and I thought this was suspicious, however she thoroughly explained the difference which put me at ease that the company wasn't trying to scam me. She even took the time to go through the list of California shipments in order to give me a much better idea of what it will probably cost. The list as close to 100 shipments, but she went through them all over the phone. The other companies I considered shipping with gave me the impression they couldn't be bothered with even giving me a short breakdown in their cost calculations. So, needless to say she went above and beyond. Laura also fully explained the process of shipping my car, what to expect on both end of the shipment (origin and destination), and then the transporters she has worked with and how stellar they are. Through out the first conversation Laura constantly told me she understood how stressful this process can be and told me not to rush a decision, that she wants to make sure this is the least stressful on me. I'm telling you, she is just amazing to work with. So to end it, I was quoted with another company for $1295 and the representative told me if we went lower it won't get picked up by a transporter so don't even bother. HOWEVER, knowing Laura went through that long list of prices for prior shipments I knew that wasn't true. Ultimately, going with Motor Movers I saved $265 AND it got there in 5 days, not the estimated 7-10. Also, the transporter V&K was just as professional. The driver was super nice, and VERY punctual. All in all, the next time I need my car shipped I will be calling Laura to set it up with Motor Movers.
