Had problems with cost and delivery time but manager does care

I got a quote from Jose at Move Auto Transport to move my car from Chicago to Denver. We agreed on a price and a pickup date. On the day the car was supposed to be picked-up, Jose called me and said they could not move the car unless I paid them another $50. Either that, or wait another 7 days and pay an additional $100.

If I would have known they were going to raise their price, I would have picked another moving company. Move Auto Transport's quote was not the lowest, and I would have expected them to pickup the difference in cost, if there was one.

Update: the manager called me back today and explained the issues again. He did agree to refund the additional cost that I was charged and seemed genuinely concerned.

I am still disappointed with this company, I would have expected the quoted price and timeframe would be met. That was why I paid extra for a company that had good reviews. I raised my review to a little below average because my guess is that lots of other moving companies are probably just as bad. Certainly not a satisfied customer, but at least this company does seem to care about their customers.
