This unscrupulous company quoted me $4084 then sub contracted the job to Father & Sons Relocation Services of Medford, Massachusetts. I provided Moving & Storage Inc. dba Neighbors a complete list of items to be moved. I was told they would show up and package my belongings. I was shocked when Father & Sons showed up with NO packing materials. I had to scramble to get boxes and tape. The furniture was delivered 2 weeks late as Father & Sons claimed the truck broke down. I beleive they were waiting to fill it before making the trek to Florida from Maine. Once they arrived they held my furniture hostage and demanded a certified check for $2200 more than quoted. They said it was NOT THEIR PROBLEM to contact Moving & Storage aka Neighbors. When I contacted them they said NOT THEIR PROBLEM I needed to deal with Father & Sons Relocation and they had responsibility. The only saving grace was a portion of my deposit was NOT on the final bill of lading that I had paid to Moving & Storage aka Neighbors, so I was able to get a charge reversed. I am still out $1600 and both companies just screwed me over. Do NOT ever deal with either company.
