LauraLee and her husband came recommended from my sister who had cars transported back-and-forth between NJ and Florida. I called about transport of an SUV from New Jersey to Texas. "Of course - we go there all the time!" was the answer. To keep the facts short and relevant:
1) The job was farmed out to REP Transport (look up their reviews).
2) Our vehicle was 4 days late. We were lied to repeatedly about the whereabouts of the vehicle (it sat, unprotected, in a parking lot in Jersey City, NJ for almost a week). The circumstances, left me with a sick feeling from the start.
3) LauraLee was part of the lying coverup.
4) She also avoided returning calls until after checking with REP to "get their stories straight." The driver who delivered the vehicle told us the truth.
5) Promises for returned calls were never kept. I had to call, or would never hear - bad customer service.
After dealing with REP Transport (which felt more like "RIP Transport") I have no faith in transporters - please see my and other reviews of REP. This experience has left me with a personal promise to NEVER, EVER trust anyone with my personal belongings and vehicle again. I told LauraLee that I could have driven this myself - I just wish I had done so.
