VERY UNDEPENDABLE. Don't trust them

I booked with this company on Feb. 12, 2014 a March 22-25, 2014 pick-up date. I signed the contract and gave National Auto Shipping a deposit of $192. I called them on March 18, 2014 to confirm the pick-up/ delivery date and was told everything was on schedule.

The moving van is picking up our household furnishings on March 26 for our relocation to California. I hadn't heard anything from National Auto Shipping on March 25, so again called to confirm. I was shocked to learn that "their Truck assigned to my pickup had a 'breakdown' and the pickup of my car would be delayed until March 27 OR March 28." I told them I had to leave for California early on March 27 to be there early on March 31 for my real estate closing there. Their dispatcher basically told me that I either could accept having my car picked up when it worked for them or they didn't have any options.

In panic I started calling other auto transport companies and was told that "National Auto Shippers pulls this trick all the time" - going on to say that " right now there aren't many cars moving out of Wisconsin right now and they couldn't cover the shipping at the price they quoted so they can't meet your schedule.

I ended up paying a $500 bonus" to get my car moved on time.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! They will only ship when it is convenient to THEM.
