My letter to the company...

I am a very upset customer that has received some extremely poor service from your company. I originally spoke with a gentleman by the name of Jay. He set up my daughters vehicle to be transported from Mystic, CT to Rowlett, TX. The initial conversation took place on Thursday 2/14 around 10am EST. the vehicle was in the shop at Valenti Ford in Mystic, CT. Jay explained to me that the vehicle would picked up on 2/21 or 2/22. He asked that I call him on Monday 2/18 if the vehicle was ready and he would see if he could get it picked up sooner. Jay sent over the contract to me that had a total bill of $900. I paid a deposit of $150 upfront which was paid by my discover card. This left. Balance due of $750, which according to the contract was to be paid by cash, cashiers check or money order at the time of delivery. I was also told that I would get a call to let me know what day the vehicle would arrive. The vehicle was repaid at Valenti Ford and ready to go on Monday 2/18. I phoned Jay at 888-628-2886 ext. 2212 on Monday. I left a couple of messages with no return call. On Tuesday 2/19 I a gained phoned Jay and again left multiple messages. I also contacted customer service at 888-628-2886 and left multiple messages there as well. Still no call back. On Wednesday evening I called and left another message stating I would cancel the order and go with another company which prompted a call from Jay on Thursday morning at 8:58am EST. He explained that he'd been out of the office and got my messages from his phone and those forwarded for customer service. He explained that the vehicle would be picked up and I would get a call soon. I again did not receive any calls and had to contact Valenti Ford in Mystic, CT to fins out when the vehicle was picked up. I again contacted Jay and customer service to get an ETA on when the vehicle would be delivered. Again, no call. Finally I get a call from the driver at 4:38 CST on Monday 2/25. He says he can deliver the vehicle at 5:30pm which was extremely short notice. I was about a hour away so we agreed on 5:45pm CST. I then received a call from the driver at 5:38pm CST stating that he cannot bring the car to my house. He asked that I meet him in a parking lot about 2 miles away. I was now becoming very upset at the entire service but just wanted to get my daughters vehicle and end this extremely poor service. The driver pulls the car off the truck and then ask for $800. I showed him my contract that stated $750. He showed me his contract that stated $800 (which I have the original copy). A difference of $50. We attempted to call the dispatch number but again no one answered. The driver had someone to call me from his company and they demanded $800. I told him to place the vehicle back on the truck and id have my attorney deal with this. After about 20 mins, the driver and I finally agreed on $780 which I paid. I thanked the driver for his patients and understanding. It was not about the extra $50 but the principle behind your company giving out two contracts (customer/transport company) with two different amounts. This along with the extremely poor customer service is truly bad business! You can rest assured that the BBB and my attorney will review the two contracts...
