My bother-in-law's Chevy Trailblazer broke down out side of Seattle, WA driving home to Boise ID. A mechanic said it was the engine and the quote to fix it was astronomical and we can fix it if we have it home. After weighing all the ways to go get it home, shipping seemed to be an option. Orange Apple was the lowest priced quote I received by over $150, others quoted from $575 to over $650, and this was much less than us driving 7 hours each way to go get it.

They were unlike other pushy shippers, one company (Boca Transport - Russell Rosenberg) even bad mouthed Orange Apple saying he would bet me $1000 Orange Apple would not get the vehicle to me as agreed.

When making the deposit on 4/8, I was told it should be picked up between 4/10 and 4/12 and would be delivered within two days of pick up. Orange Apple found a carrier that could have picked up the vehicle within 8 hours of making the deposit and it would have been in Boise with in 20 hours of making the deposit. The mechanic shop were the car was parked would be closed at the pick up time and the driver did not feel comfortable picking up a car with out a person giving the OK. Orange Apple then found a carrier the next day (4/9) and it was delivered yesterday (4/10). They even delivered it in front of the house, in a subdivision that I was unsure a semi truck would fit. This process was so easy with Orange Apple, they are a great company. I was leery of them because of the comments on this website but Steve Vigo but my mind at ease that one person was responsible for almost all of the issues and he (James/Jim Bauer) is no longer with the company.

Needless to say Russell at Boca Transport will not answer my emails and I'm not holding my breath for a check in the mail from a company that has a C- rating from the BBB.
