I hired a car broker who hired Penn Ex Transportation of Kirkwood NY to bring a car from Mass. to Maine. The car was in great condition but it was not registered or inspected so couldn't be driven. The battery was dead and the carrier had said if it was inoperable they wouldn't come. They were told that we hoped to get it charged before they arrived. However, that didn't happen and the carrier came anyway. Instead of leaving, he was going to charge the car. He put the car in neutral, pushed it and it slid forward into the carrier's truck. The front passenger fender, bumper, etc. were all damaged - estimate about $2100. This happened in November 2013. After all this time, the carrier no longer responds to any messages and would not take responsibility for the accident. I'm stuck with a damaged car.
