Hidden broker cost

First, let me be clear that the car arrived approximately on time and delivered approximately on time with no damage to the car. Gilbert was very nice in explaining the process.

HOWEVER, the reason for the review, is that it was definitely not made clear to me that the price he quoted me at $1000, was NOT the ultimate price I would pay. Instead, I would have to pay a total price of $1200 to transport from Illinois to California. That is a 20% increase in price. This caused a tremendous hassle on both sides and multiple phone calls throughout the day and utter craziness.

I will agree that he was knowledgeable and walked me through the process, however he FAILED at the end of our call to say, so, your TOTAL price is $1200 (aka there was no mention of a extra broker cost except an email that was sent to the wrong email address that I never saw).

Why the low review with good service? Because he kept important information from me, thus, who knows what else he is keeping from me. My cousin and friend both got their cars shipped from Illinois to California with the broker fee INCLUDED in their total price, so I was absolutely baffled that I had to pay an extra $200.

Would not recommend. I had a couple friends ask me who they should use to ship their cars and I am telling them nothing.

Jeff, I am so surprised and shocked with your review. You called me personally asking for my help. I told you upfront that our broker’s fee is $199.00. You told me you had been “burned” by 2 companies that couldn’t move your car for the past 3 weeks. When you placed the order with us, your vehicle was picked up the same day and was delivered within 5 days. When I assigned you the trucker, I emailed you the total pricing that shows the breakdown between the trucker and broker fees. You thanked me the day your car was picked up, and acknowledged that you received my email with all the fees. I am completely confused why you would put in a review like this? We are a transparent, honest, and upfront company.
