Moving my car with Philam transport was a great experience. I shopped around and compared prices for enclosed shipping, and Philam was among the very lowest. When I called him, Gilbert patiently explained every step of the process, including a candid discussion how moving companies contract drivers, and how the contractors and drivers are paid. When the first driver he had arranged to move the car fell through, he found another one in minimal time, and absorbed the extra expense out of his own brokerage fee. Unlike many other horror stories I found in my research, Gilbert didn't demand his fee before pickup and didn't pass along the cost increases to me. His communication throughout the experience was outstanding from pickup to drop off. The car arrived in perfect shape. All in all a very solid moving experience - I'd definitely go to Philam again to move my collector car!
