On Friday, 23 May 2014 I requested a transport of a vehicle from Andrews, Maryland to Palm Bay, Florida. I received many calls from various transport companies with Premier Auto giving me the lowest bid by roughly $100. I requested the vehicle to not be moved until after 1 June which was no issue with the company.
I called them on Monday, 2 June to schedule a pick-up, and they informed me that a truck should be available for pick-up by Friday, 6 July. No driver ever contacted me nor showed up for pick-up.
I called them on Monday, 9 June to figure out what was going on and was told that the driver did not have enough vehicles to fill his load. With that being said I was told by Premier Auto that my vehicle would be transported regardless if the driver had a full load or not by Friday, 13 June at the latest. No driver ever contacted me nor showed up for pick-up.
I called them on Monday, 16 June again to figure out why my vehicle had still not been shipped and was told that the driver was supposed to contact me and that they were unsure of why I was not contacted. I was then told that they would have a driver pick my truck up by either Wednesday, 18 June or Thursday, 19 June at the latest. No driver ever contacted me nor showed up for pick-up.
I called them on Friday, 20 June to once again figure out why my vehicle still had not been shipped. I was given another story of how the driver had issues filling his load and was going to make a trip to Florida by Sunday regardless of how many vehicles he was transporting and that my truck would be moved by Sunday, 22 June without a doubt. No driver ever contacted me nor showed up for pick-up.
I called them on Monday, 23 June and was told that my vehicle would be shipped by Friday, 27 June at the latest... again. No driver ever contacted me nor showed up for pick-up.
I called them on Monday, 30 June and was once again told that my vehicle would be picked up by Friday, 4 July at the latest. Needless to say, that didn't happen.
I called them on Monday, 7 July to cancel my order and was informed that it would take 7-10 days for the order to go through and for me to receive my money back.
I called them on Wednesday, 16 July, which was at the 9 day mark of my cancellation, and was told that they only put cancellation orders in on Friday's and that it takes 7-10 business days for the transaction to go through.
I called them on Wednesday, 30 July to inform them that I had still not received my money back. I was told that the cancellation was routed on Wednesday, 16 July.
I finally received my money back on 30 July. This was 23 calendar days after my cancellation and 17 business days after my cancellation.
So, essentially I wasted 68 days from the day I put my order in with Premier Auto till the day that I received my money back from them. I should have cancelled with them after the first 2 weeks of false guarantees, but I was continually told that they would get it taken care of within a few days.
This is by far the worst company that I have ever worked with in my life. Not just for the fact that they continually failed to do what they said they would do, but they are also extremely unprofessional. It seems as if though this place is run by a few guys who have no experience in their field nor professionalism in general as they do not show any respect to their customers when speaking on the phone.
I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AS THEY CLEARLY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS.
Premier Auto Towing is a disgrace to all American businesses and should be ashamed in their poor contribution to the transportation industry.
