On August 11th George Vuyowich, the driver, dropped off my car at it's destination (one day after the promised delivery date). The sunglasses that had been on the visor were stolen. (Prior to shipping the car the broker I used ok'd leaving them in the car. Furthermore, part of the transport agreement was shipping personal articles during transport). Additionally there was/is damage to my rear bumper/trunk. Prior to receiving the car, the driver had to unbend the rear license plate which was at a near 90 degree angle. Despite the obvious theft and damage the driver refused to accept responsibility. When the owner found out about the complaint, via the broker, he left a threatening voice mail on my wife's cell phone. Further, he told the broker not to release his insurance information to me and said he would instruct his agent to do the same. It is clear from Mr. D'Amato's actions that his is aware of the damage and theft, is responsible for it and is attempting to conceal his actions and hide from his liability. BE FORE-WARNED. Mr. D'Amato is unprofessional to say the least and obstructive. When he contacted the broker he took great pride is his abusive and threatening phone call and the fact that he refused to cooperate.
