We brokered this load from Specialty Mobile, and acte as the carrier in regards to this move. From a brokers perspective, they can act as a liaison in behalf of the customer in resolving unforeseen damage claims, however, the issue is handled through the carrier itself (in this case Quality Auto Shipping Inc) and the insurance company. The information that the customer has provided is partially true; however, he has opted to leave some details out. Specia;ty Mobile has been ans will be a responsible and ethical broker.
From the4 insurace perspective, the insurance company is trying to settle the claime with the customer; however, there seems to be a lack of cooperation from the customer. Let me reiterate that I am just as anxiously awaiting the claim to be settled, and apologize for this very frustrating experience the customer has endured.
As the owner of Quality Auto Shipping Inc, this issue, while this move was from the fall of 2006, is still none the less being dealt with by our company, and the insurance company. As has already been established, the driver acted criminally, and there was police invlvemment, thereby this is still being investigated by the Da. we are also taking steps to ensure that he can not do this to another company or customer.
We apologize for this horrific experience, and also state that from Quality's stance, we have and will continue to work to resolve this issue. Our customer service is and always shall be a proirity to us.
