Red Carpet quickly responded to my on-line quote. I was immediately assigned a contact person, Tony. I was happy with their website and ratings and reviews on Transport Reviews.com Tony was friendly and he explained what to expect during this transaction and the basics of how the auto transport business works. I wasn't always able to contact Tony and there were a couple calls and emails he didn't respond to within the day of the question, but he did eventually return my calls and emails. I did find help from someone in the office when I called but I waited on hold or was directed to voicemail.I requested a more detailed contract, something they would sign and fax me, they only gave me a brief email quote. The driver was friendly and showed up the day Red Carpet said he would, late in the day which wasn't convenient. I specifically told Red Carpet the car could not be delivered before we arrived in Columbus, Sunday 9/5 afternoon. I was disappointed when the driver told me he would arrive Saturday and would not be available to deliver any time other than Saturday at noon. He said Red Carpet didn't tell him anything about when to arrive and I might need to wait for another driver. I tried to contact Red Carpet then and they were not available. I allowed the driver to take the car that day which put us scrambling to find someone we barely knew in this new city to recieve a money gram, cash it and make a money order and wait at our new place to receive the van. The money gram cost us time and extra money. After the transaction I have had no response to my questions about the rebate so I found information on their website. I felt like I was no longer a priority once the job was complete. All in all, the car made it safely and I would consider using the company again.
