I needed to ship a car I was buying from AZ to CA and went online to find a transport carrier. Like most people, I submitted an online request and my request was sent to MANY brokers, all of whom bombarded me with quotes, promises and most, had fairly high shipping rates for such a short move (808 miles). One of the proposals I received was from Mike at Safeway. Mike's proposal was one of two that were the lowest so I decided to call and speak with Mike directly to see if he was a salesperson, like most people who contacted me and promised me the world, or was more honest, open and easy to work with. Mike is that guy. He runs Safeway Car Transport and his business is family run. That means a lot to me as a business owner because I know that working with him means putting food on his table and shoes on his kids' feet. Not that I don't trust big companies, I just prefer to work with someone who's invested in me and my satisfaction. Mike delivered EXACTLY what he promised and for the exact price he quoted. No shenanigans, no bait and switch, no lack of contact, no flakiness and BS. Mike promptly returned my emails, texts and calls. My car was picked up within 24 hours of signing my contract, on a Friday, and I received my car the following Monday. The auto transport driver was excellent. He was easy to work with and professional. And my car was delivered to my home safely, quickly and without issue. I will hire Mike again when the need arises, as I often buy cars from out of state. I hope your experience is even better than mine. I am 100% satisfied and happy and I write this recommendation without any compensation or consideration from Mike at Safeway Car Transport LLC.
