I had a rushed cross country transport needed for two cars from San Diego, CA to Portland, ME. I contacted Safe-Direct for a quote and Tom responded very quickly and answered any questions I had including giving me an updated quote for two cars.

Tom was very helpful and explained that if I changed the delivery location to the Boston area it would guarantee me a faster assignment to a carrier and faster transit time. He also offered us a discount for changing the location.

We did not give Tom a lot of time to set up our delivery, so I understand and I do not blame him for the problems that occurred. Given that our delivery set up was rushed, I think it went fairly well.

The carrier I was assigned had "transmission problems" on the day of the pick up. It was very annoying since we had talked to the carrier that morning and said it was all good to go.

However, the carrier made good and arranged for us to drop off the cars at a storage location near where I lived so it could be picked up at a later date since I would be leaving the state the next day. It was a hassle, but they picked up the tab since it was their fault.

Two days later, they were able to pick up the cars and our cars were delivered near Boston 12 days later. The driver of the truck texted and called us to arrange pick up and let us know in advance where and when to meet. The cars were in good condition, and the transaction was very easy. The driver was not sketchy at all and was very prompt.

Also, Safe-Direct offered the best price for the transport and the price did not sacrifice on service or delivery.

I am very happy with the service Tom at Safe-Direct gave me and I would definitely use this again when I move, and would recommend Safe-Direct to anyone interested.
