I worked with David from Safe Direct and thought he was quite knowledgeable and direct, and overall my experience with the transport was good. I was having a car shipped from Indiana, about an hour south of Chicago, and during our initial call David informed me that in order to stay at the originally quoted price, that it might be easier to meet the carrier in Chicago or another nearby city where cars were being shipped. However, this option was not that palatable, so he recommended that we leave up the bid and see if anyone responded, but that as the date got closer, it may require a slightly higher bid. Sure enough, we ended up getting a request to up the bid by $50, and in debating the convenience versus the extra cost, I chose convenience. The pickup was on time and the drop off was pretty seamless in California. Overall, I had a good experience and would use Safe Direct again.
