Hello All,
I do not have a lot of time to write this but I want to get the points across that made working with David an excellent experience.
My wife and I needed to ship a car from southern to northern California. At the time, she was 8 months pregnant so we could not drive it up ourselves, as it would be too much for her in her condition.
We initially employed a different company, who promised to pick up our vehicle the day we were scheduled to take off on our flight. In case you don't know, after 8 months, airlines are very stringent about allowing passengers to fly pregnant. We only had a small window of time.
The initial company never showed up to the pickup. We were forced to leave our vehicle in Long Term Parking at our expense. What we discovered later on, is that many of these shipping companies will over promise in order to get your money, and cannot guaranteeing pickup as they will promise you. They will keep your deposit.
Once we made it to Northern California, we were very upset. We almost missed our flight. We spent the next couple of days looking for a different company, while we were dealing with the other company who over-promised and under-delivered.
Enter David.
I found David on Yelp, after reading some reviews. It turns out that the business of shipping cars is way more complicated than you can imagine, and the drivers determine if your vehicle will actually be picked up, not the company, no matter what they will tell you. David explained this and worked with me to figure out a way to get the car to me without hassle.
He explained the business, and walked me through what was needed. The driver picked our car up, on the day we agreed on, two hours early. The vehicle arrived without hassle. David walked me through the whole process.
In comparison to the first company, his customer service is light-years ahead. I appreciate this type of service. I will not name the other company, but people be warned, be very, very careful about who you deal with. I would recommend David as a bankable alternative to any others out there.
