I would like to say Tom @ship a car direct was very professional in everyway. Tom answered all my questions with no hesitation. If I sent him an email, he always responded in a reasonable amount of time. If I called and he didn't answer the phone. I would leave a message and he always called me right back and we are in 2 different time zones. Him being on the west coast and myself being on the east coast there was really no delay in communications. Then there was the cost. I had a car transported from Colorado to North Carolina for $1,225.00 with a $30.00 refund for doing a survey. Tom at ship a car direct charged $195.00 for his fee and the transporting company charged $1000.00. Which was a great deal cause my wife and I couldn't have flown in a plane from N.C. to Colorado get the car and drove it back cheaper then what they did it for. THAT WAS AWESOME!!! Russell from Auto-X which was the transporter was unbelievable(in a good way) he had my car to me in 3 days yes 3 days. He picked the car up on a Friday around lunch time and was here on Sunday at 12:30pm. From Colorado to North Carolina in 3 days!!! I was always informed on what was going on, updates on where he was at. Russell from Auto-X was the man I tell you. This was my first experience in having a vehicle shipped, much less having one shipped across the Country just about. I was very nervous & anxious about the whole thing but Tom was very reinsuring and he found the best transporter in the country I believe. If anyone is thinking about having a vehicle shipped first I would tell you to get an enclosed trailer that way it is inside where things can't hit,scratch,brake from being outside with the weather. 2nd thing is to call Tom @shipacardirect.com and 3rd request Russell from Auto-x to do the transporting then just sit back and wait for your vehicle to come to you with no worries. I would highly recommend them and if I ever need a car/truck shipped I will be using them.
