I put in the order 4 days prior to pick up date. Meanwhile I was getting bombarded with calls from other businesses. I did not get distracted because I did my research and apparently there are a lot of unethical sales tactics used in this industry. I was disappointed that I had to follow-up by phone the day of only to be told I would likely not get anyone. I was thinking that if you couldn't make the pick-up date the customer should be notified, not find out in a call to ensure all was on track. I was told that I would likely not get a driver on the date I had listed. I informed Stefan that another company informed me that they found a driver. About an hour later I got a call from Stefan that he had found me a driver but it cost me a $100 more than original quote and way more than the competing company. I stuck with Ship a Car Direct only because this company had the best reviews. So I paid more, but I did get my car exactly on time and I was super happy. It was dirty, but nothing a wash didn't fix. I like this company because they blacklist drivers that don't meet customer expectations (i.e. they damage cars or are unreliable). They also seemed more honest and professional than other companies. It seemed like competing companies like to call each other liars. Stefan was professional and focused on the benefits of his company rather than making defamatory statements about the competition.
