I bought a car out of state (almost 900 miles away) and decided that getting it shipped would be easier than making the 1800 mile round trip in a weekend to pick it up. After reading numerous reviews for car shipping companies, I decided to go with Ship A Car Direct. I originally placed my request on Tuesday 11/8 for the car to be picked up from the dealership on Friday 11/11. I understand that I didn't give much notice ahead of time, but by Friday evening my car was ready to be picked up and I was getting anxious. I contacted Bruce and he offered to raise the price by $50 to entice a carrier to accept the job sooner, and he even split the raise with me by lowering the deposit by $25. On Monday morning (11/14), I received notice that a carrier had accepted the job, and would be picking up the car on Tuesday 11/15. To my surprise, I received a call from the dealership a few hours later letting me know that the carrier was ahead of schedule and had already picked up the car! He made the 900 mile trip in less than two days and showed up Wednesday morning (11/16) with the vehicle. While it was a little dirty, and I found some rock chips in the bumper/hood that were not declared on the pickup inspection report, overall I am extremely satisfied with the process and would use Ship A Car Direct again!
