Oh my, where to start? Joe tells me "No problem, I'll call the truck driver now that will be picking up your vehicle"....puts me on hold, & probably goes for a drink of water, laughing on the way to the water cooler. Comes back on the line & says, "yeah, I just spoke w/ the driver (did I really believe this dude?) & you'll be picked up by this weekend". That's where the fun starts. Joe gives me a phone number & says I can call & track my vehicle starting Monday but when I do the dispactcher says to me, "how'd you get this number?" Oh, oh. I said Joe, the the car transport hero gave it to me & the guys says hold on. He comes back in a couple of minutes & says, "I just spoke to Joe & he denies giving you this number, you need to deal w/ him" and slams the phone down in my ear. Umm. Ok, maybe Snowbird wasn't a good choice after all. But these liars got my truck...what to do? A couple more weeks go by & my truck is still in Jersey I'm in California freaking....time to call Tony Soprano? I figure Tony S probably owns a piece of this scam so I guess that's a no go. After half a dozen calls to Denice & no call backs (hey honey, when you say you're gonna call me back, I'd appreciate maybe you'd keep your word once) Now w/ no other recourse, I figure it's time to be my own superhero. Yep, that's right...I got on JetBlue the next morning at 7:00AM - landed at JFK at 3:00 & at 4:00 was pulling out of the Jersey yard w/ my freed truck & went home to sleep in NYC - Can you say FREEDOM!!! Next morning at 6:00 I started & went all day untill St. Louis!!! Next day all day till Albuquerque!! Last day right back into LA!!!! WOW - That's how you get things done!!! **LESSON LEARNED** NEVER, EVER, USE SNOWBIRD UNDER ANY CICUMSTANCES & gas is much cheaper away from the coasts. (Oh yeah, credit card fully refunded)
