I chose Specialty Mobile Systems after looking at the reviews on this web site, and checking with the BBB for complaints. They were not the most expensive, but they were about $200 over the cheapest estimate I received. Despite feeling good about choosing this company, deep down I felt it was sort of a crap shoot and was concerned that all the reviews might not reflect my experience. But I was wrong! They were as good as the reviews said. The car was my father's, shipping from Chicago to me in Los Angeles. Dee made all the arrangements with my dad, and then called me to tell me what was going on and to make sure she had me listed as the customer. She found a trucker (Jake Bauman Trucking--Jake was great!) within a day, and the car left Chicago very promptly. I was promised the car on March 8 and it came a day early. There was no damage and Jake worked hard to meet me as close as he could, and kept me well in the loop for where he was and when he would arrive. I didn't even give Dee a chance to follow up with me, because I emailed her immediately with thanks for taking care of my car! She did call me back, though, just to thank me. I was so pleased with the service, the speed, and the care. I would NOT hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to others.
