I came upon Specialty Mobile because I had been tooled around by another, so-called, finest auto transporters and was quickly running short of options. Specialty Mobile stepped in to save my butt and my money.

My daughter was in her summer employment between her junior and senior years as journalism major at University of Georgia. She'd accepted a job for the summer being a counselor at a camp for physically handicapped young adults in north-central California and she was determined to drive out to the camp and take a scenic tour along the way with her boyfriend who was also going to work as a counselor there. Only one problem - the camp had a "hard" stop on August 11th (couldn't leave before) and my daughter had to be back in classes by August 16th. The schedule precluded her driving back across country.

I did a Google search for "auto movers" and came up with a service that sent my info and specifics to 6 different transporters. Each one came back with different estimates varying up to $500 between them. I accepted the least expensive one without doing my homework. They asked for my credit card to charge a deposit and then I found out later they'd charged the entire amount. I placed the original order 4 weeks in advance and when the day came closer to my "absolutely must pick up by" date and I hadn't heard from anyone - I called the customer service line. I was put on hold for a few moments, after which a very abrupt individual told me he'd look into it and call me back and promptly hung up. Immediate sinking feeling in my stomach.

I decided to do much more work toward finding a transport company that would be ethical and honest. I came across "transportreviews.com" and thankfully found Specialty Mobile. The people there were great. They responded to my request and gave me a reasonable price. In every instance they did what they said they'd do either by phone call or by contact. The driver called to make arrangements for the pick-up the day prior to the pick-up and was there as promised. I happened to be in Athens Georgia with my daughter the day it was delivered to her. The car was in fine shape and the driver was more than courteous.

All-in-all a super experience that was head and shoulders above the rest. I recommend these folks without hesitation and I'll use them for all my future needs. Do yourself a favor - don't go with the cheapest - use the service that has received good reviews. You won't be abused.
