We had to arrange to ship our daughter's car to LA (from Florence, KY, a Cincinnati suburb). I requested quotes from several companies, and was soon flooded with useless e-mails. In every case where I tried to get specific information from them, their answers were either incomplete, vague, or completely unresponsive. This changed when I called Specialty Mobile. Polite, up-front, and entirely trustworthy. Once I agreed to the details, Specialty Mobile went to work to arrange transport thru a shipper. In short order they provided a carrier name and estimated pickup and delivery times.

I was contacted by the driver who informed me that he could pick up the car 10 days earlier than Specialty's estimate (GOOD) and could get the car to LA 10 days quicker than the estimated transit time (HAPPY DAUGHTER). All expectations were exceeded by Specialty Mobile and the driver.

One caveat! Be sure you know how truck-friendly your pickup area is! I nearly got the driver stranded in our neighborhood because of my poor planning and knowledge of street width vs. truck requirements. The driver kept his cool and all ended well. The car was delivered to my daughter's apartment in downtown LA.
