Although the cost of transporting the vehicle from Indian Lake, N.Y. to Austin Texas was a bit steep,I would recommend Specialty Mobile Systems with the highest of ratings. First contact with Amy actually put me in touch with a human voice. Previous experience with other companies resulted in conversations such as: Here is the quote... Take it now.. Questions resulted in 1 answered call in which I was cut off and various e-mails from folks telling me they would soon be in contact. None of these actually followed up.

When I contacted Specialty Mobile, Amy took down the details of the move and within 30 minutes returned a quote. The driver arrived in sub-zero weather at the pick-up site and was extremely friendly and knowlegeable. I received a call from Specialty over that weekend from the driver indicating he had run into snow and rain in the Midwest. On Tuesday, the driver called me from Arkansas and told me he would be in Austin that night. I was figuring it would be at least three more days, and was quite surprised. The delivery occurred like clock-work and I was struck by the care with which the vehicles were loaded and unloaded. The driver was incredibly friendly and helpful. The car was off the vehicle quickly and in my garage in a flash. In summary, I received many quotes from companies for transport that were less than Specialty. Given the care they took with both customer service and the quality of the transport, I would recommend and use them again without a second thought.
