I chose this transport company after having a bad experience with another company and reading the excellant reviews on this website. We were shipping two cars from the east coast to Portland, OR. One car was picked up within a week (they promised ten days) and promptly delivered about 4 days later. At this point in the story I could not have been happier with SM. Unfortunately, our second car did not get picked up for close to a month, and I did not hear from the company. When i finally called to check in, they were apolagetic but said they had not found anyone to transport my car and could not give me a time estimate. They did offer to refund my deposit. My car was eventually picked up, but then the truck broke down so they took an extra day or two. Overall, my experience was average. I get the idea that this whole industry is a little shady and no one can GUARANTEE that your car will be deliverd within two weeks, which was what we were looking for. I probably would not use this company again, although I don't know how I would find a better company, so it may be as good as you can get in this industry. Our cars were not damaged so we were happy about that.
