Late, Damaged, and Items stolen! Never Use!

TFX was referred to me as a quality outfit as they reportedly have an exclusive Canadian factory Lamborghini delivery contract, and that they reportedly have a good reputation, and have vertical lifts for all their trucks. My experience was far from what I expected!

My delivery was delayed due to poor MN. weather in February 2007. The truck my 1965 Buick Riviera was on had it's lift break down while picking up a car in MN. After speaking with TFX nearly daily, I became aware that they had my car taken off the truck and put into the care of a local repair shop. the truck took over 10 days to get repaired, and on the road to me. When it arrived here, the high end speakers were removed from the car and had very cheap substitutes. During the approx 21 day trip, the custom Air Ride suspension had been played with to the point fuses were blown and the battery drained. Worst of all was that the car had been clearly dropped on its transmission. Fresh and clear damage was visible on the transmission pan. The interior housing to the transmission was cracked and loose, and the main seal to the engine was leaking. None of these items were an issue when the was picked up by TFX.

I was present when the car was dropped off, and witnessed the car being dropped a short distance, as the rear lift clearly still did not work properly. The driver (Bob) was quick to deny any issue or breakage, and the company would not take responsibility for its actions. I paid a premium for this transportation, and am still dealing with the after effects six months later.

I even spoke with the 'owner' of the company, while she was concerned with the situation, would take no action to correct or look into the problem.

Very disappointed and frustrated. I feel my only recourse is to pursue through courts, which is frustrating and expensive. TFX knew it had a problem with its lift, and left the car under another's care without my authorization, and yet would do nothing to address my very real and reasonable issues.
