Non-performers and Unethical to boot!

I contracted with this company beacuse they stated all vehicles stay on the same truck the entire route minimalizing any chance of damage and they owned their own trucks.
Put deposit down on 1/12 and pick-up was scheduled for 1/16. No one picked up the car or returned any of my calls or emails for the next 5 days straight. Ten days after deposit and still no word I stopped payment on my credit card for the depoit and hired another company.
Town and Country lied to my credit card company and said I terminated them the day after hiring them. CC co. believed me.
Town and Country then turned me over to a collection angency for the entire 1150.00! saying they had incurred expenses by hiring a driver.
That was also a lie because when I terminated them on 1/22 they still hadn't scheduled a driver for my car. That was the only time they returned any of my calls by the way- when I fired them.
I notified the BBB of FL and filed a complaint and Town and Country lied again in their response to the BBB. They didn't even give the same dates of my cancellation as they did to my crdit card co.
I have an excellent credit record and this con of a company may jeopardize that so I have to take further action.
If you don't want to waste months of time, anger and frustration forget about this company.

Follow Up - Six Months and Counting
This is a follow-up...
I posted the original rating on this company. My ordeal with Town & Country began on 1/12/2004.
It is now 7/27/2004 and this company is still bothering me because I canceled the 200.00 deposit on my credit card.
They did turn me over to a collection agency for the full 1150.00.
I replied to the collection agency twice IN WRITING.
Yesterday I received a phone call (with blocked caller name and number) by a man who represented himself as working for the collection agency.
I replied,"I have already sent two explanation letters to your company" and that I'm not going through another verbal explanation.
He replied that they have received no correspondence from me and "what was I going to pay?"
I got very angry and said I was not paying a dime!
He then said, "Lady, to you realize this is going to collections?"
I told him I had all records of emails, phone calls and copies of the letters I already sent and to "go ahead."
I also informed him that I had filed a complaint with every agency I
have come across- the BBB, the Atty. Gen. office in FL, the FBI fraud division etc.
I then began to wonder if I was talking to the collection agency at all as the voice was very familiar... like the broker/owner/manager from Town & Country? Don't know but
This company has violated their own contract 3 times in my case alone and I have the records to prove it.
