Transporting a vehicle can be very stressful, especially for someone not familiar with the transporting industry. Let's just say there are many companies out there who will scam you in a heartbeat. It can be very overwhelming to select a company. My husband chose Transport Connection because of their positive reviews and rating. We were fortunate to do business with Bill from Transport Connection. From the beginning, Bill was very helpful and knowledgeable about the transporting business. He even helped me when there was a mix up with another transport company. Bill is a straight shooter...he tells you exactly like it is...no sugar coating with him. My husband and I respect that. We were looking to transport a 1962 Chevy truck. He said the route from Wyoming to Illinois was an unusual route and because of that, he would not require a deposit until he had a driver lined up. Meanwhile, Bill was in constant contact with me via phone and email (great customer service). About a week later, a driver contacted him with an "enclosed" trailer and wanted to charge me $700. As a military family, I told Bill my budget only allowed me to spend $600. He said he was not sure if the driver would accept that, but was willing to contact him and see if he would. He placed a 3-way call with Trace from TL Custom Transport. I informed Trace of my budget and situation. He said he was willing to accept $600. I was able to stay within my budget and the truck was delivered (in an enclosed trailer) within 2 days of pickup. It was delivered on time and in the same condition. My husband and I are very excited to start restoring his grandfather's 1962 Chevy truck. I am so thankful to have done business with Bill from Transport Connection and Trace from TL Custom Transport! I highly recommend both these companies! Great customer service from beginning to the end! Thank you Bill for taking care of us! Job well done!!! Happy New Year!
