The mom placed an order saturday evening and we loaded tuesday morning. We tried to explain that you don't just place an order and think that a driver will show up the next morning. We keep our trucks booked about 3 days in advance. The driver originally told her 5 days for transit but it took 8. That is because snow came early to the Rocky Mountains. You can't drive a 60+ foot double decker hauler loaded up over the mountains in high winds,sleet and snow. You will jacknife. We had to go around thru Southern Calif and up the coast. It takes longer. The daughter understood basic weather and safety. The mother seemed to have a problem grasping it.
