Bad circumstances. Our driver did only give 8 hours notice for loading. Not our typical day before. We did load it the exact day the customer requested. He broke down outside of New Orleans. We had to wait 2 days for the parts to be sent and the repair shop ordered the wrong part. So another 2 days for new parts. Once recvd the transmission had to be rebuilt. All total it took 12 days for delivery. This does happen. We moved just over 4,000 vehicles last year. Trucks are running constantly, mechanical issues happen. Human error clicking on the wrong part # happens. We can not control that. We refused to pay $100 a day for a rental car for him. Enterprise had a Camry or Accord for $22 a day. That was fine. We are not going to be extorted with bad reviews for $100 a day. The other 8 customers on the truck didn't ask for $100 a day car rental allowance. Personal vehicles, company trucks, dishwashers, a/c units, everything in our every day life breaks down. It does not give somebody the right to blackmail a company.
