We had contacted a broker, Philham Transporation, who sent UI Expres to pick-up our car. The broker promised delivery in 4-5 days and the BOL noted door-to-door service. We understand that road conditions and weather can impact the scheduled delivery but we were never sure where the car was and received conflicting messages from UI Express and Philham. When UI Express finally arrived in CO on the 10th day they refused to honor the drop off point. Instead they demanded another $100 to deliver the car. Even then they showed up 2 miles away after dropping off our rental car so we had to walk, in the dark, in an unfamiliar part of the city. They completely disregarded the written agreement and held the car hostage for the additional payment. We will be contacting all available local/state/federal agencies to report this highly questionable firm and their despictable business practices.
