I should have known something was off when “Jake” from India was the rep who called me with a bunch of people talking loudly in the background. Besides the communication issues, I should have seen right through their low pricing, but not having used a vehicle transport service I was genuinely unaware of what it should cost. $250 for 120 miles for a suburban sounded reasonable. Well, then I was given a heads up from more reputable, American, folks. They explained how things in this industry work and that US Star Trucking is a scam, that they lure you in with low prices and then call you the day of transport and Jack the price up. That is exactly what happened. First, they told me the truck they had lined up was having issues. Then, they called and said they had a truck lined up, but it would be $750! I said no, cancel the contract and refund my deposit. At this point the person I was talking to, maybe Jake, became rude and was interrupting me repeatedly. I told him I was going to file complaints with the State of MN and the Feds about this company, which is exactly what I plan to do. Be wary of this company, they’re scammers.
