Decided to use United Routes to ship vehicle due to positive reviews. Contact person was David Tal. Had vacation scheduled and time was a concern. David assured me this would be no problem. Contacted David on 9/12 to inform him vehicle was ready and reminded him I would leave on vacation the 19th. Heard nothing and contacted David again on the 15th with another reminder. Received an email saying "no worries". Heard nothing contacted David again on the 18th and never got an answer. Contacted the vehicle owner and let him know the shipping would have to be postponed. Now for the good part. David contacted the seller and tried to have the vehicle picked up Tuesday the 22nd while I was out west!! I was never contacted!! What the heck was going to happen to the vehicle while I was not available? Luckily the seller told Mr Tal the vehicle would not be moved until he had the OK from me (thank you Bob). Understand I knoew the time frame was short when I talked to David and I would have understood if he had siad he couldn't guarantee the move before I left. Chances are he would have still gotten my business but i have no tolerance for people that do not keep their word. Failing to move the car in the promised time was bad enough but I am very suspicious of the attempt to pick up thhe vehicle without my knowledge while i was out of town. I would keep well clear of this company and especially Mr David Tal.
