THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH ANY BUSINESS, REGARDLESS OF SERVICE PROVIDED!!!!!!

I am writing this review in hopes of warning you to NEVER use this company for your transportation needs. I made the mistake of not doing my research and now I am still trying to get my refund of $225 back a month and a half later.

I was quoted a price of $725 to move a car from WV to OK on 15 August 2013. The shipping date was established was to be immediately. I was told then by smooth-talking Gary Malis (salesman) that I would need to give a $225 deposit up front. I was initially leary of this as other companies do not ask for it. He assured me that this was the way to ensure my car would get a prompt carrier; having the guaranteed money and all. Second mistake. He told me that he expected a carrier would be locked in within 3 -5 days and that I would be receiving a call back from a member of the dispatch team.

I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK FROM ANYBODY IN THE DISPATCH OFFICE THROUGH THIS WHOLE PROCESS.

So, since they never called me back, I called them a couple times a week to check on the status of my shipment. The staff (which amounts to one disgruntled employee apparantly)was very unporfessional to try and work with. You are guaranteed to get forwarded to a phone that never answers or a voice mail that nobody ever listens to.

THEY NEVER HAD ANY INFORMATION TO REMOTELY SUGGEST THAT THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO DELIVER ON THEIR PROMISSED QUOTE.

Long story short, I ultimately decided to cancel my order (well after the 10 working day grace period as specified in the contract) and requested a refund of my deposit.

Since then, the rude factor has gone up ten-fold, I am sure they have my number on a black-list and as soon as I say "refund", they say hold on!! then forward me to the fictional owner and manager named Richard Dobelle.

RICHARD DOBELLE (SO-CALLED OWNER) HAS NEVER ANSWERED MY CALL OR RETURNED MY CALL)

I realize that my refund (after 20% fee per the contract) only amounts to $180, but I am not willing to let this go on principle. I will pursue other methods to reconcile this "theft" through whatever means necessary.

By the way, don't even bother posting a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, they have had 16 complaints and they have never even answered the BBB or tried to fix the issue.

JUST DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, EVER!!!!!

Gary,

After speaking with you 21 days ago in reference to moving my 1966 Chrysler 300, I had a good feeling that I made the right choice chosing your company and did not mind paying the $225 deposit after speaking with you.

Since then, your company's performance has been terrible.

I had to call repeatedly to check on the status since I was never called back as I was promised. I did finally receive a call from Natasha last week stating that she would assuredly be calling me back within a day or two since a carrier would be locked in by then for sure; that call never came. When I called her back, she forwarded me to your dispatcher Jason.

Jason is a liability to your company if your company actually cares at all about its reputation. Not only did he NEVER call me back ONCE even though he assured me he would on many occasions, when I called him back several times he always put me on hold and then proceeded to tell me how hard his job was as he was answering 5-10 calls at once. He rudely offered the same answer daily; "Your car is on the board".

I have turned down countless offers by other companies NOT asking for a deposit that could guarantee delivery because I have been waiting on Universal to deliver.

Unless I receive a call today from your office informing me that a carrier has been secured, I must respectfully request a REFUND OF MY DEPOSIT.

This customer was not told that a carrier would be locked in within 3-5 days. All customers are informed that we need 5-10 business days for pick up and delivery. We do take a $225.00 deposit to insure the driver that the vehicle will be at its intended pick up address when the driver arrives. He was called back by dispatch and was told that we are looking for a carrier. This customer is looking for service that no one can give him and there is a contract that was sent to him which he signed and sent back. We transport over 600 vehicles per month. That is approximately 7,200 vehicles per year and we are proud that most everyone is very pleased with our services. There are a few who will not be pleased regardless of what you try and do for them.
