Upscale Auto- Poor service, didn't deliver

I had a signed quote for transporting a small SUV from Massachusetts to Miami FL for $600. On the scheduled date of pickup no truck showed up and I received no call. When I called Upscale I was told that there was a problem with the transport truck and my pickup was possibly on the next day (Friday). I asked that I be called on the truck status. I called Upscale again and was told my sales person was gone and my pickup would take place during the weekend and I would be called.

The following Monday I contacted the owner, explained the situation (I was in Miami the car was still in MA). He promised to call back and didn't. When I contacted Upscale again the owner told me he could not do the transport for the quoted price, it would be more like $700 to 750. I asked him owner for a firm price and pickup date he never called me back.

This company tried a bait and switch move on me. Upscale seemed to have good reviews, I guess you can't trust everything on the internet. My best advice, ONLY use a transport company that you have a first hand recommendation from someone you know and trust.

I received my $100 deposit back through MasterCard when I put the charge in dispute. I have not and will not communicate with Upscale any further. I used another transport company and my SUV was delivered with no problems.
