This company is the worst! Problems from beginning to end. They came late, complained about parking, they wanted to park in front of building (hydrant), and were upset that they had to cross street. The pickup was in Harlem, NYC, and they expected to get something right in front, they're lucky they got that. They asked if knew whose cars were parked in their way , so stupid. I said this is the city not the' burbs', can't help with that. They actually said people usually help with parking(ridiculous). They immediately told me that I would have to be charged for this and I of course tried to call company but of course no answer. Next they said they would have to charge extra for going up to 3 floor. They made it seem like we lied about our address, I told him look at contract, it clearly said 3 floor, plus we were charged $75 for that already which I found dumb. Next, they actually asked me the customer to go down and watch my stuff because they left it in lobby with door open. I told them they can't do that because it's not a safe neighborhood and my things could be stolen. They didn't listen so of course I had to go down and protect my things. During this madness the foreman was nonstop harassing me about his tip if you can believe it. I have to stress this the most, the guy would not stop about the damn tips! That was my main complaint before, now I have many others. That was just pickup. After, I had problems just to complain. Started with phone call, they told me send email, I did, I started dealing with Daisy, relocation coordinator (management), who didn't even identify herself as a manager(found out through some one else), and she has pissed me off more than the tip guy. She does not get back when she says she will and when you do get a hold of her she gives you the run around. So, while I'm dealing with Daisy my delivery date keeps getting changed later. I asked for remaining balance to be canceled, they said you have to pay off balance then they can refund you something, I thought it suspicious but they have your stuff so you don't have a choice. Finally, delivery comes, oh my god!, what a mess(I got up pics). It was a joke, all the items marked fragile in big red paper were on bottom, so stupid! They were bringing in things that didn't belong to us. They lost 3 boxes which I guess was lucky, could've been more. We multiple damaged boxes and I'm not done checking. They wanted to refund me $150, I said that doesn't even cover the money I was extorted for the tips! Oh I forgot the tip guy from pickup got $70 when I planned on $60 because he actually said to me it wasn't enough. He got extra $10 bucks that I found. It was a light move by the way, only boxes no furniture. So, to finally end this nightmare, I got extorted tip money, had to work for these guys by watching my stuff, missing boxes, damaged property, promised small refund that I probably won't get and now I have to file a claim for the missing items which should be fun(not). So, do not deal with these guys, the good price that they quote you will change. Horrible people! The little weasel that kept harassing me for tips is named Alex by the way. If you have the displeasure of meeting him tell me how hard it was not to smack him in the head for bothering people to tip, tips are not mandatory you little jerk.
