HORRIBLE, would NEVER do business with them again! I didn't hire 'West Coast Auto Transport Services', I went through Andrews Auto Transport and they got contracted to do my job. Initially they said it would be 9-13 days to transport it... they made us meet them at 6am,,, yes 6am for them to pick up my car on a Thursday and said that he will have the car in WA by the following Friday. Friday rolled around and we heard nothing, I called the driver (who barely spoke English and I could not understand) and he advised me that his truck broke down in Portland and I couldn't understand anything else. No other communication from him... I called Monday a few times, Tuesday a few times, and finally Wednesday I called the company itself and asked where the hell was my car!!?? They advised the truck broke down and that the cars were disbursed to other drivers. He gave me the new drivers phone number and I called, was actually the same guy and he said he would be at my house that afternoon or maybe between 8-10pm! I told him no he can't deliver that late... I mean seriously to drive a giant tractor trailer into a residential neighborhood at 10pm... you are crazy! But he couldn't understand me, and I him, and hoped he would come earlier. No word, no calls, until I woke up Thursday morning (14 days now)... and found that he called me at 10:58pm asking to drop off my car!! I WAS LIVID!!
I got a call from the company at about 730am telling me that the driver couldn't get ahold of me and I wouldn't let him deliver it... oh you better believe Greg got an earful! I asked him what his normal practice of delivery hours are, and how disrespectful and rude it is to call and wake up a family at 11pm to try and deliver a car!! I told him the driver hadn't even tried calling me this morning at all!! I demanded that he give us an adjustment on cost considering it was now 14 days later AND the rude driver. He agreed to give me $100 off and told me that the driver had cash. (this is because my final balance was $900 in the form of a cashiers check which I would have had to wait for the bank to open, go down, exchange the cashiers check for $100 less and then come back and pay him that). He asked what time he could deliver the car, I advised him... NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS 8-5pm, and because he didn't want the driver to have to wait for the bank to open at 9am he said that he would contact the driver and get him to give me a $100 cash refund.
The driver came at 2pm lol... figures. And was unaware of the refund. Said they'd cut me a check... me and my husband REFUSED to give the money until we got a cash refund. The driver was rude and unprofessional. Told us his was giving us his money out of his own pocket. I told him that he needs to deal with his crappy company and work it out with him, that it wasn't our problem and that he needs to get his crap in line because he better be HAPPY my phone was on silent and you didn't wake up my 8 month old when you called to ask if you could deliver my car at 11pm!
I would NEVER do business with these scammy jerks again! I would have paid someone to drive the car and not deal with this BS! Both companies are horrible!!
