I contracted with Payless Auto Shipping to transport my 2016 Indian Motorcycle from Los Angeles to Florida. I was quoted a price of $840.00 for the transport in a covered carrier. I had booked it many weeks out from when I wanted it transported. I was contacted by Shawn White from Payless Auto Shipping by Email, and he said that he needed an Advance deposit of $100.00 towards the full amount of $840.00. I sent that money to him right away. I tried to Email/Call him about what time/date to expect them to pick up the Motorcycle for Transport. I finally got a hold of him, and he told me that he sent me an Email with the details (I never received such an email), and called him, and emailed him many times after that, but didn't get a response. When he finally responded, he told me that they had EMAIL Server problems, but it had been fixed. I still never received anything from him. I got a call the DAY before they were going to pick up the Motorcycle, and that is when I learned that they had sub-contracted out the job to another transport company and that is what the deposit was for. I told him that I wanted to pay the WHOLE AMOUNT now, so that payment was NO DUE at the Destination of where they were dropping off the Motorcycle. I paid the Full $740.00 amount that was due, and received a receipt from them. They said that the driver would be there between 11am-1pm. The driver didn't show up till 8pm. and that is when I found out that they contracted with a company called GANNOTA, Inc (which later I found out has a D+ rating with the Better Business Bureau). They barely had room on their Transport for my Motorcycle, but was able to get it on. When they were strapping it down, I told them that to NOT put pressure on the Kick Stand, and it would cause it to break. They assured me that they would take good care of it,
The Motorcycle arrived 5 days later in Florida and we had the people receiving it look it over. I had sent them pictures of what it looked like when it was loaded in the Transport Truck. They noticed that the motorcycle was leaning extremely to the Left on the kickstand, and the company told them that was the way they received it. I was on the phone with them, and told them that was NOT the way it was shipped, and that they had put too much pressure on the kickstand and broke it. They refused to acknowledge a problem. They also demanded that the person at the other end give them $650.00 as payment for the transport. Once again I talked to them on the phone and informed them that the money had been paid to "Payless Auto Shipping" in FULL and had a receipt to show them. They kept saying that they never got paid from Payless Auto Shipping, and we owed THEM the money, or they were going to take the motorcycle back with them until payment was made. We finally had to Zelle "Gannota Inc." the $650 that they demanded to have them leave the Motorcycle. The next day we contacted Payless Auto Shipping and told them what happened. We had also put a Negative Review on Goggle about our Experience with "Payless Auto Shipping". We were informed by Payless Auto Shipping that we MUST take down the NEGATIVE REVIEW before they would refund a DIME of our money that they owed to us. We wanted our money back, and agreed to cancel the Negative Review. It took us 2 days to finally get all our money back from Payless Auto Shipping, and nothing has been said about paying for the NEW Kickstand that I will have to have replaced by the Indian Dealership for incorrectly securing my Motorcycle on the Transport Vehicle.
I advise all my friends against using this transport company, and I am advising people reading my review to look elsewhere as well !!
