I just bought a 03' Ford Lightning from a guy in NH. I was looking for enlcosed trailer and a good price. And well I got a price of $1,334.16. This load was only posted for three days keep this in mind. Dottie told me there were a few inquires but some said the load didn't pay enough. Well I have to say at this price I thought why not. She never told me that the $200.00 deposit was subtracted from this $1,334.16. So when the drivers saw this load they saw it ONLY paid $1,134.16. My husband was a truck driver now think about gas prices and just the service being rendered. Again this is an enclosed trailer. No one in their right mind would take this. I called another company that I found on the internet they referred me to one of the guys that called this A1 Shipping Services and he said $1,500.00 should get the truck moved but not the price that they gave me. He in turn referred me to another guy in CA. with River City Auto Transport. He told me about this website and told me to read the wonderful reviews this company has and that did it for me. This company would and could have strung me along for God knows how long. So I fired these people AS SOON AS I could get someone to return my phonecall. And what I didn't like about this company also when you call EVERY TIME AND ALL THE TIME you get a answering machine. They took about a day to call me back and no time to take my money and didn't explain anything about what I had to find out on my own. And to top it off I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company to get my money back. Hopefully I will get the full $200.00 deposit back and if not I will seek further action. These people don't know anything abou anything. And the most shocking part about this is that your vehicle is picked up by one person and my see 3 or 4 other trailers before it gets to you and you never knew it. This company left out ALL the DETAILS AND THE BEHIND THE DOORS things that people should just be told and know about. And when I have called to speak with someone named Denise she has never returned any of my 21 phone calls. And if she is the OWNER why does the voicemail say sales rep. RiverCity Auto is the best to go with. Just make sure you do your homework.
