Poor communication, late pick-up

Bonsai was subcontracted by Door-to-Door. On Tuesday they committed to picking up on Wednesday which was essential because person with car was leaving town on Friday. Wednesday morning said "today for sure" but no commitment to time. It was 3 pm before they committed to a time: 9 pm. Actual pickup after 11 pm. Full day wasted for person responsible for turning over car. Dispatcher was difficult to reach and not courteous on phone. Car was picked up without condition marked on paperwork (it was dark). Showed up with several minor abrasions (from loose straps??) that were not present upon loading (per my visual inspection week prior). Not bad enough to file a claim and deal with more poor customer service. The driver was professional and courteous. After he picked up the car he communicated with me (on the delivery end) quite well - thanks MT.
